Despite the lockdown imposed in several places, the smuggling business continued to boom in central India's Madhya Pradesh on June 1. The incident took place in Morena.

A video features the police officials recovering several cartons full of liquor from a white Innova car during the daytime. The cops further stack all the boxes in a row for a public view while the policemen retrieve more illegal alcohol from a bike. Following the occurrences, the authorities disclose the entire matter and seize all the illicit items.

According to an intel received from an informant that liquor was being smuggled from Dholpur in Morena, the officials from the Civil Lines Police station ambushed the three miscreants in their car near Celtex Warrior and confiscated 32 cartons full of alcohol worth around Rs. 1 lakh (USD 1,367).

In another case, the Station Road Police Station cops followed two smugglers on a bike near the Ambah bypass. However, the duo tossed their vehicle aside and absconded from the scene while the officials confiscated six boxes of alcohol worth Rs. 20,000 (USD 273) from it and further seized their vehicle. Moreover, cases against the two, identified as Ashu Dandotiya and Karan Jadaun, were registered in the police station.

Three smugglers involved in transporting liquor through an Innova car were arrested under the Excise Act while the search for the other goons is still in progress by the authorities.
