People rescued from broken roller coaster on Coney Island, NY
Dramatic footage has emerged of passengers being rescued after a roller coaster ride broke down at a theme park in Coney Island, NY, US on Sunday.
The video, captured by a local news website, shows rescue crews escorting passengers off the 'Cyclone' rollercoaster after it stopped working mid-ride.
The incident occurred on the first operating day of the season for the 88-year old wooden roller coaster at Luna Park.
According to local reports, no injuries were reported, and all passengers were evacuated safely.
