Time lapse dash cam footage of 8 mile tailbacks in Yorkshire
Dash cam footage capturing the entire length of tailbacks near York today (3rd June) . The build up of traffic began on the A64 at Murton and cleared 8.5 miles away on Barton Hill. The Eastbound section of road that normally takes minutes, took over an hour to travel. It is thought that the volume of traffic and traffic lights at Hopgrove Roundabout were the cause of the long delays. The A64 is the main route for many tourists, which includes many locations on the Yorkshire Coast.
