'US Soldier Returns to her Hometown to Surprise Best Friend '
'This is the touching moment a soldier returned to her hometown in Holtville to surprise her best friend.
Anne Britschgi's family couldn't make it to her basic training or AIT graduation, so she decided to pay her loved ones a visit during the Christmas holidays of 2020.
She said: "Since I was allowed to go home, I decided to surprise everyone for Christmas. My best friend, the one in the video, she’s been by my side since day 1. My biggest supporter, my go-to, my therapist, she’s my everything."
Anne added: "Being away from her for so long was definitely one of the hardest parts of leaving, so when I got the chance, I came home to surprise her."
This heartwarming reunion took place on December 20, 2020.
