Car drivers littering, caught on CCTV and being wanted by Indonesia citizens
Car with the top trunk filled with sacks of garbage was caught on CCTV littering in Indonesia.
The security camera footage installed at the embroidery shop shows an SUV car passing on Panorama street, Bukittinggi city, West Sumatra province on Monday (May 31).
Car then stopped and threw all the sacks filled with garbage to the road side next to the Kindergarten school.
Video of the car and the perpetrator caught on CCTV went viral after uploaded on Facebook.
Residents are outraged by the actions of the perpetrators who throw garbage on the road side.
According to residents, the road is a tourist bus route that is often passed by tourists on foot.
The car and the driver are now fugitives.
To deal with the garbage, a team of firefighters was called to clean up the site.
In local regulations, people who dispose of waste improperly are sanctioned to pay a fine of IDR 250,000 (13 GBP) up to a prison sentence.
