An immense brawl between the cleaning staff and the healthcare officer resulted in workplace violence in central India's Madhya Pradesh on June 3. The incident took place in Karnawad in the district of Dewas.

CCTV footage features the cleaning staff attacking the chief medical officer (CMO) of the municipal corporation in broad daylight. After a few moments, one of them slaps the authority while the others strike him with their fists out of rage and create ruckus in the area. Following the commotion, a few people dart out of the place with the CMO to prevent the fight.

The agitation of the cleaning staff against the senior officials broke its limits after they did not receive their full salary due to negligence in their job. The CMO, Mahesh Sharma, revealed that they warned the workers several times to maintain the work standard, but they did not oblige, following which they took strict action against them.
