The thirsty serpent was seen wrapping its mouth over the hose to gulp down some of the water coming out from the mains in Bangkok as temperatures reached 37 degrees Celsius.

House owner Anand Taduten said: ‘I was shocked to discover the cobra there. I was about to do the dishes. Luckily, it did not attack us and only cared about drinking.’
