Saving Harold the Bee
So on the 07/06/2021, my partner went outside to find a Bee in the paddling pool. Quickly fishing him out, we placed him out in the sunshine to dry out. He was exhausted and struggled to move.
We made a solution of Sugar water and placed a spoon next to him but he was so tired he could not crawl to the water. I carefully picked him up and moved him towards the sweet water. As you can see in this video he was lapping up the water we gave.
Over the next 2 hours we watched his strength rebuild and he began to move more and more. Eventually he spread his wings and up he went into the air. I’d like to think he’s now back with his family. We named him Harold.
