This is the terrifying moment a roof flew off a home during a storm in northeastern Thailand.

The incident was recorded by a neighbour as heavy rain and strong wind battered Surin province on June 5.

Onlooker Ponrat Hongjua said: "Our house roof was leaking. It’s the first time in my life seeing anything like this happening to homes in the district."
