Illegal trading has emerged as one of the most formidable challenges during the current pandemic in southern India's Andhra Pradesh on June 8. The incident took place in Panchalingala in Kurnool district.

Visuals feature the cops tracking down the smugglers and recovering alcohol ingeniously hidden at the bottom section of the auto. Following this, they retrieve more liquor bottles from under the passenger seat of the auto-rickshaws and assemble all the liquor on the road after seizing them.

At the Panchalingala state border check post, inspections were being carried out by N. Lakshmi Durgayya, Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) Inspector, and other staff members under the supervision of SEB Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Gautami Sally of Indian Police Service (IPS). Meanwhile, they were following the direction of District Superintendent of Police (DSP) Dr. Fakkirappa Kaginelli.

During such surveillance, they apprehended smugglers, identified as Shantikumar, Abraham, Boya Madhu, and D. Srinivasa Nayak, as they were involved in transporting illicit liquor from Telangana through two autos. Moreover, all the 210 bottles of alcohol were seized from their possession, together with the transports, and the accused were handed over to the officials in the Kurnool Police Station.
