A riot broke out in Bogota, Colombia between police and protesters on Wednesday, June 9. Unrest has been taking place in the country dating back to April 28 due to a tax reform bill.

Earlier this month negotiations between the government and the national committee that led to the national strike were suspended.

This Wednesday in the capital the protesters came out to protest against the national government in the march that they called 'take for Bogota'. The national strike began on April 28. A few days ago the negotiations between the government and the national committee that leads the national strike were suspended.
