Wild Baby Deer Gets Rejected at the zoo ( by the other deer ) and a kind Bulgarian man took him home
A cute video has emerged of a baby deer roaming around a garden in Bulgaria after being adopted as a pet.
The footage, captured in Varna on Monday, shows the animal exploring its surroundings in the filmer’s back garden.
The filmer wrote online that he took the deer to a nearby zoo but it had trouble fitting in with the other animals, so he had to take it home again.
"The baby deer came into my backyard one morning. I immediately tried to find contacts with the local zoo,” he later wrote online.
“After a few days I managed to find the aforementioned contacts and I took it to the zoo.
“After around 2 weeks the zookeeper called and told me it will be best if I take the deer back home as the other deer are isolating and bullying him. He was also refusing to eat and was standing in one corner of the cage very lonely.
“So today I got him back and he is feeling better already, I am not sure what will I do when he gets bigger, but for now I can enjoy his company and try to make him the happiest animal in the world.”
