A hapless gemsbok was freed by a man after becoming trapped on a fence in Botswana.

Stephane Bauvet uses a pair of bolt cutters to help the large antelope species wriggle free from the wired fence.

He is heard saying "good deed for the day!" as the wild animal scurries off.

"This was taken in Botswana near Khutse National Park. The poor gemsbok was stuck in the fence for hours until this kind man came for rescue."

This video features Stephane Bauvet using a bolt cutter to rescue a gemsbok stuck in the fence. He proceeds with caution in order to maintain his distance from the animal that can't wait to get up and run into the wild again.

"Good deed for the day!" Stephane says as he sets the antelope free and relieves it from its pain.
