A dog in southern India was seen roaming with a plastic container in its head for more than two days.

The lost canine was seen in Venkatta Nagar in Pondicherry on June 10, being unable to eat or drink anything with the container stuck on its head.

Raja, a local animal activist, followed the dog and tried to help it but unfortunately it ran away at first, however eventually Raja caught the dog using a net with the help of other volunteers.

They struggled for one hour to free the dog from its plastic prison and finally succeeded. Once the container was removed the dog happily jumped and ran away.
