A motorcycle rider was seen carrying his pet duck, named Happy, on the back of his bike.

The owner was riding through a market in the Chinatown area of Bangkok, Thailand.

Locals gathered around to take pictures of the unusual pillion passenger and asked him questions about the cute pet.

The man said his duck has a name tag around his neck which also has a flashing light and his phone number, in case it ever gets lost.

He said: ‘I have this toy remote control that I keep with me,’ the eccentric duck owner said. ‘It’s like a device that can control my bird. He’s so cute.’
