Two cops died in honor while saving their country from ferocious militants in northern India's Jammu and Kashmir on June 12. The incident took place in the Sopore town of Baramulla district.

Visuals feature the commencement of the wreath-laying ceremony of the martyr policemen in broad daylight. Following this, everyone pays their last respects to the slain cops while locals mourn in the backdrop. After the service, the officials carry their coffins to the memorial site in an ambulance and depart from the area.

The militants opened fire on a joint patrol of the police and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in the Arampora area of Sopore. In the attack, two civilians and two cops succumbed to their fatal injuries and were declared dead upon their arrival to the hospital while the area was sealed to catch the suspected terrorists. Moreover, the act of violence has shaken the town, and officials suspect Lashkar-e-Taiba was behind the brutal attack.

Mourning the loss of the martyred policemen, the wreath-laying ceremony was organized where everybody paid tribute to them for their bravery while the officials asserted that their sacrifice won't go in vain.
