Racism allegations at German School in Cape Town
Parents and students at the Deutsche Internationale Schule Kapstadt known in English as the German International School, held a protest outside the school to protest racism.
According to Aike Swai, a parent of a student, an incident took place which caused students to stage a silent protest. Parents are awaiting more details from the school as to the outcome of investigations into the cause of the protest.
Parents speaking off camera because of fears of intimidation said a teacher allegedly made a statement claiming that research shows that white people are genetically smarter than black people.
