I was doing dishes one night when I heard a tapping sound at the window. We were renting, and were desperately searching to buy our forever home in the middle of a housing crisis and pandemic. I figured the tapping sound was Junebugs until I realized it was March. When I looked over I couldn't believe my eyes. A little chickadee was sitting at my window staring at me. It was the weirdest experience to see a little bird watching me, especially when it was dark outside. The bird proceeded to fly to other windows and sit and look at me. A few weeks later we got an accepted offer on our forever home. I truly believe that chickadee was sending us a message of luck and optimism. Truly an experience I'll never forget.
