Five out of six people associated with an illegal betting racket were arrested in southern India's Andhra Pradesh on June 13. The incident took place in the Madhurawada region of Visakhapatnam.

The police officials busted an illegal betting racket, which was operating from an apartment in a residential building for the past three months. They caught five people from the six-member gang and took them into custody.

The members began the betting with the Pakistan Super League T20 cricket matches and misled the betters by providing them false ratings. Moreover, the officials seized communication set-top boxes, television sets, tablets, cell phones, routers, account ledgers, and cash amounting up to Rs 1,590 (USD 21.75) from the accused.
