Third wave hits Western Cape, local hospital brings new emergency ward online
As the third wave hits the Western cape in South Africa, A new Emergency ward with all the required facilities was brought online at the Victoria Hospital in Cape Town.
Dr Keith Cloete, HOD at the Department of Health in the Western Cape says the numbers are rising and the only way to curb it is to adhere to the protocols. Cloete spoke after the opening of the unit.
The new Emergency unit increases bed capacity for the 136 year old hospital.
