Cops seized illegal tobacco items worth Rs 6.50 lakh (USD 8,864) in southern India's Telangana on June 14. The incident took place in the Peddapalli district.

Visuals feature the police officials standing in a circle around a pile of tobacco items. Several products in varied sizes of packets rest in the middle while the cops prepare to set fire to the heap. Later, while the illegal tobacco products burn in the backdrop, a cop reveals the details of the case.

Moreover, Deputy Commissioner of Police of the district, Ravinder, later revealed that cases would be registered against those who distributed and sold the tobacco items despite a state-wide ban on them.
