Adorable footage shows pet dogs enjoy plucking hotdogs from bamboo sticks hanging above their heads.

Seven pooches – four Corgis, two Beagles, and a Golden retriever – delightedly picked the savoury treats dangling overhead in Davao City, the Philippines.

Pet owner Lovelyn Rabago said: ‘I was invited by my best friend Jany Eguia to attend the birthday celebration of Beannie, a Corgi dog.

‘I came with my pet corgi Spencer. It was all my friend’s idea to have birthday games. I really liked it because our dogs enjoyed the party.’

The game locally called ‘Pabitin’ was traditionally prepared during children’s parties where snacks and prices would hang on the sticks for the youngsters to take.
