Two elephants getting strangled in a sludge or taking bath in a pond, forest officials got confused in South India
Polluvanpatti is a forest area in Coimbatore District of Tamilnadu.
Two male wild Jumbo's was crossing a pond to enter into another side of a forest. A pond came in their way then the elephant s got into the pond to get into other side of the forest. But unfortunately it got strangled in a sludge in the pond. Then the forest department officials came to its rescue. But then they found that the elephants was not strangled they were taking bath and enjoying the pond water. The elephant s were taking bath for merely three hours. Then the forest department officials busted crackers and chased the elephants into the deep woods.
