In a shocking occurrence, a girl was hit by a bike due to severe negligence in southern India's Telangana on June 12. The incident took place in Malkamcheruvu in Raidurgam.

CCTV footage features fairly regular traffic on the road in broad daylight. After a while, the girl jumps from the divider to cross the road and continues to walk until she gets hit by a speeding biker attempting to deviate his way to avoid the crash. Following this, the two get dragged along the bike amid the street to a distance, ensuing panic among the onlookers.

The vehicles on the road immediately stopped after encountering the accident to help the injured duo. The locals then help them gain strength to get up while traffic occurs in the lane. After this non-fatal accident, the authorities strictly advised pedestrians to use the crossing to avoid such mishaps in the future.
