The vehicle spun into oncoming traffic across the dual carriage in Lampang province, northern Thailand.

Stunned driver Suwannasin Suparuak swerved to the left to avoid being hit by the white saloon, which came to rest more than 50 metres further down the road.

The driver and two passengers were injured and taken to hospital.

Suwannasin said: ‘I stopped to call the emergency services and I waited for them. They came to take the people in the car to the hospital.’
