Illegal trading has emerged as one of the most formidable challenges during the current pandemic in southern India's Andhra Pradesh on June 16. The incident took place near Peda Upparagudem village in the Narsipatnam area of Visakhapatanam district.

Visuals feature the officials tracking down the illegal liquor manufacturing unit amid the bushes in broad daylight. After a few moments, they discover the barrels full of alcohol and destroy the containers, along with other materials, while liquid keeps flowing through the waterbody nearby.

The Narsipatnam rural Sub-Inspector, Ramesh, and his crew were inspecting the embankment pond on the outskirts of Upparagudem village and saw fermented jaggery in large containers. Upon noticing the unethical activity, he and his team immediately destroyed 5000 liters of illicit liquor and warned these units to stop manufacturing these products as strict action would be taken against them.
