South African Communist Party protests against failed service delivery in Cape Town's township's
Members of the South African Communist Party (SACP) protested outside the municipal offices of the City of Cape Town against failed service delivery in working class townships. A few dozen SACP members chanted and danced outside the Civic Centre to handover a memorandum of demands to a representative of the city.
Disang Mocumi, a member of the SACP's Brian Bunting branch accused the City of forever rolling back the housing budget to national treasury. Mocumi accuses the City of ignoring basic human rights in the townships
