Cape Town police boss heckled by homeless man during gun law protest
JP Smith, the City of Cape Town’s mayoral committee member for safety and security was heckled by a homeless man as he was about to address a protest against South Africa’s proposed gun law changes.
Smith’s law enforcement and metro police department’s are accused of allegedly harsh treatment of homeless people in the Cape Town CBD and in other parts of the metro.
The homeless man is seen shouting at Smith and is then led away by Debbie Else from Stop Farm Murders group and a biker from Ride to Freedom. Ride to Freedom were the organisers of the protest. The protest took place outside South Africa's parliament.
