Rafting Under a Waterfall Rainbow at Cumberland Falls, KY, is a Great Way to Beat the Summer Heat
Several rubber rafts full of people set forth from the banks of the Cumberland River in Kentucky this morning for a white water river adventure that began with an upriver visit to Cumberland Falls, one of the Eastern U.S.'s largest waterfalls. The rafts each took a turn paddling close to the falls. From the observation deck, the boats appeared to go under a rainbow and behind the falls. Some of the river rafters also took turns taking a swim to beat the heat on this last day of spring. Each raft was supervised by experienced rafters from the Sheltowee Trace Adventure Resort.
