'This Italian boy has got a passion for fruit carving and it shows in this remarkable video.

This clip features Valeriano Fatica carving the popular Marvel character, Venom into a watermelon.

Valeriano said: "Venom is one of my favorite fictional characters of all time. He appears in American comic books published by Marvel Comics and was also featured in a movie revolving around his character, starring Tom Hardy."

When asked to tell us a bit about himself, the talented fruit sculptor said: "I have a passion for carving fruit and vegetables as well as cheese, clay, and rock. I started this Art in High School."

He added: "In 2011, I started working at my family’s restaurant 'La Roccia,' and at the same time, started carving watermelons for the buffets. After a year and a half, on Dargen D’Amico’s advice, I started sharing my art on social media."
