Officials in Kheda, Gujarat, used an excavator to crush hundreds of seized alcoholic drinks worth almost $60,000 USD.

Footage from June 20 shows the vehicle smashing bottles of alcoholic beverages worth $57,900 as local officials spectated.

The drinks had been seized by police from 21 different crimes from 2019 to 2020.

Illegal trading has emerged as one of the most formidable challenges during the current pandemic in western India's Gujarat on June 20. The incident took place in Kheda.

Visuals feature the officials tracking down the huge consignment of foreign liquor. Following this, an excavator destroys all the alcohol bottles in public view while another excavator flattens and crushes them on the spot. Meanwhile, liquid from the containers keeps flowing on the road along with tiny bits of glasses.

The Kheda Town Police Station cops seized foreign liquor from goons in 21 different crimes from the year 2019 to 2020. They further tossed all the bottles in one place while an excavator destroyed them all in the Kheda camp. Moreover, all the alcohol was worth Rs. 42,92,830 (USD 57,900).
