Hundreds joined a peaceful LGBTQ+ protest in Liverpool on Tuesday, June 22.

The protest was a response to the series of violent homophobic and transphobic attacks on LGBTQ+ people that were reported in the city centre in recent weeks. Joanne Anderson, the recently-elected Mayor of Liverpool, spoke at the protest condemning the hate attacks against the LGBTQ+ community.
