A group of about 20 members organized a free disinfection spray in Vietnam. The group used pickup trucks to spray in many directions and increase flexibility when moving. The amount of money to buy disinfectants, sprayers, protective gear... more than 200 million VND is paid for by the group.
Interview Mr. Tran Huy Dang – team leader
I saw that the epidemic situation in Ho Chi Minh City was complicated, so I thought about it and spent my own money to buy disinfectants and sprayers to support the Government in cleaning the air. I actively contacted the local government to disinfect the air in that area. Medicines, I buy at companies recognized by the Ministry of Health of Vietnam, the way to mix the medicine also has careful use instructions. Where there are no cases, I will mix lighter doses, and where cases have been recorded, I will mix more concentrated. I only have an ambulance so I'm limited in spraying, so I borrowed a pickup truck from the owners to make the spray more effective.
Interview Mr. Nguyen Dinh Van – Pickup truck owner
The roads in Ho Chi Minh City are quite small and narrow, so using pickup trucks can move into those places to spray better. The strong point of the car is that the spraying staff can sit in the trunk, roof, and hood to spray in many directions. Because of the community, even though I am busy with many things, I still arrange everything on the way to help people prevent Covid - 19.
