A bison was rescued from mud after an epic struggle in a tea plantation in southern India.

The plantation is located in Savaarangodu, a hilly region of Valpaarai in Coimbatore District of Tamil Nadu.

Employees of the tea estate notified forest officials of the stuck bison. They then came with a vet and checked the health of the animal.

The bison was old and weak so could not get out of the mud so a team of 10 tea estate employees, along with the forest officials, battled for two hours before successfully freeing the animal.

A bison was struck in a slushy soil in a tea plantation that is located in savaarangodu a hilly region of Valpaarai in Coimbatore District of Tamilnadu.

Employees of the tea estate noticed this and informed the forest officials about the same. Then the forest officials along with a vet came and checked the health of the bison.

Then they came to know that the bison was very old and weak and due to that it can't able to walk out from the slushy soil. Then it was known that the bison came here to drink the water from the nearby human habitation.

A team of ten tea estate employees along with the forest officials rescued the bison after two hours of struggle.
