Security officials, including police and army men, are enforcing Covid-19 lockdown for 42 days. President of Uganda Yoweri Museveni issued a 42-day lockdown following an upsurge of coronavirus cases in Uganda. The lockdown regulations included the ban of private and public transport (except for essential workers) in the country for 42 days as a measure to mitigate the pandemic.
