Several factions of Hamas, the militant group that governs Gaza, gathered in front of the destroyed Al-Jalaa Tower on Sunday (27 June) to protest delays to construction imports.

The building was destroyed in the recent conflict with Israel.

Attendees demanded that Israel’s blockade be lifted and that destroyed homes be rebuilt.

They called on international mediators not to link the issue of Israeli prisoners held by Hamas with the issue of reconstruction.
