Ditlantas Polda Sulawesi Selatan (South Sulawesi Police Traffic Directorate) has a unique way to invite the public, especially motorists, to always obey health protocols. Reminders to continue to wear masks, maintain distance and wash hands at all times.

The unique way to do this is by taking to the streets to campaign. Not an ordinary campaign, but by involving a number of police officers dressed as Avengers superheroes. These include Spiderman, Thor and Captain America.

The campaign was carried out by distributing 500 masks to motorists on Jalan AP Pettarani, under the Flyover bridge and on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman. These superhero-clad police officers also went down to invite riders to wear masks properly.

Head of Sub-Directorate Regident Ditlantas Polda Sulawesi Selatan (South Sulawesi Police Traffic Directorate), AKBP Yusuf Usman said, "Today's activity is an activity to distribute masks. This activity was carried out as a series of Bhyangkara's 75th birthday, and was carried out simultaneously in the ranks of the South Sulawesi Regional Police. Especially in Makassar, it was carried out at 5 points.

500 masks were distributed. We involve superheroes to attract people to be more sensitive. That superheroes also have a concern for surviving Covid. We remind you that now covid is increasing and the importance of wearing masks, washing hands and avoiding crowds.

An appeal to the public that covid exists and we must be vigilant, so we don't get exposed to covid. Avoid crowds, wear masks and wash hands frequently," he said. (*)
