The Israeli occupation authorities continue to apply their policy of collective punishment against the population of the Gaza Strip, including stricter restrictions on the import and export of goods to and from Gaza, which seriously impairs the exercise of civilians, their economic and social rights. In connection with the recent developments concerning the practice of collective punishment, the occupation authorities imposed impossible conditions for traders and farmers from Gaza, demanding that they remove the green stalks of tomatoes before exporting. The farmers said it would make the tomatoes spoil quickly.

The video shows Palestinian farmers working on a tomato farm in the town of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip. They are protesting in Gaza City in front of the United Nations headquarters, as the Israeli occupation oppresses Palestinian farmers and produces products that violate their rights.
