Protesters clashed with police in the Colombian capital last night (June 28) exactly two months after the anti-government movement began.

Police used tear gas and stun grenades to try to disperse demonstrators.

Colombia has been hit by protests since April, following opposition to a proposed tax hike that morphed into a mass movement against the administration of President Ivan Duque.

In the north of the city, on the night of June 28, protesters and police clashed with stunned tear gas from the police trying to disperse the protesters and the members of the front line guard. Protests continue in the country due to repression and police abuse. This day marks 2 months of the national strike that would be announced on April 28, 2021.

En el norte de la ciudad la noche del 28 de Junio se enfrentaron manifestantes y policia con gases lacrimogenos aturdidoras de parte de la policia intentando dispersar a los manfifestantes a los integrantes de la guardia primera linea.
