This is the touching moment a wild monkey entered a home in northwestern India and hugged a frail 90-year-old woman who was lying in bed.

Footage filmed in the Jodphur area in the state of Rajasthan on June 27 shows the langur monkey sitting in bed with Bhanvri Devi before giving her two tender embraces.

The friendly primate then caresses her forehead affectionately before leaving via the open window.

According to Devi, she was sleeping when the monkey jumped onto the bed.

"When the monkey sat onto me I didn't feel scared," said Devi.

"She hugged me like she knows me and we have some connections," Devi added.

"The monkey was with me there for nearly 30 minutes," she said.

Devi's daughter-in-law who witnessed the incident said she'd never seen anything like it and just folded her hands "in prayer and respect."

The Jodphur area has a population of up to a million langurs, so the monkeys are used to humans but remain wild animals.

In a very unique and Adorable video a big Langur Monkey jumped into a house a went directly into a room where a 90 year old lady was sleeping on her bed , the monkey went on to the old lady and hugged her two times , the monkey also caressed her forehead with her hand before leaving from there .
The incident happened at a house in Naya Bazar area of Phalodi village in city of Jodhpur , 90 year old Bhanvri devi tells that she was on her bed sleeping when this big monkey jumped onto me , she adds when the monkey sat onto me i didn't feel scared , she hugged me like she knows me and we have some connections , the monkey was with me there for nearly 30 minutes , she hugged me two times before leaving from there , The mOnkey didn't harmed anyone there in the family .
