Covid-19 has been changing the lives of children, from their academic to social skills, everything has been affected ever since the pandemic, following which a 12th standard science student, Tushar, came up with a brilliant idea to help these kids in northern India's Uttar Pradesh. Visuals shot on June 27 feature the student explaining the features of the smart chair-table in Aryan International School in Varanasi.

Visuals feature Tushar constructing the smart chair for the students who often get distracted during their online classes. He further models his project in which the handle to the chair automatically lifts after getting activated and closes after the student sits on it. Following this, the phones of the kids connect with the big screen placed in front of them, which helps them in learning and grasping several skills during their regular classes.

Tushar innovated the smart chair under the guidance of Shyam Chaurasia so that the students stay disciplined during the online classes as the closure of schools came with serious consequences during the pandemic as children stopped paying attention while the other disadvantaged kids had no access to a proper session due to lack of good equipment. Shyam Chaurasia helped in shaping Tushar's idea and gave him relevant equipment and counseling to create his project with the help of Vineet Chopra.

Tushar built this model within 15 days, which cost him over Rs. 8,000 (USD 107) initially. Moreover, this system is connected to the mobile, and the screen in the phone automatically gets enlarged on the 14-inch liquid-crystal display (LCD). Therefore, once the student sits on this chair, it gets activated and locks it until the teacher grants permission to the children to leave during the classes. Most importantly, if the kid tries to leave the online session, the teacher gets a notification on their phone as the system is entirely connected and is in their control through the channel gate. Once the class ends, the chair unlocks itself, allowing the students to take a break.

Moreover, the chairman of the Aryan International School, Vineet Chopra, encourages these talented students and motivates them to work hard on their projects in the APJ Abdul Kalam Startup Lab in the school. Furthermore, the chairman believes in these students and helps them in achieving their goals.
