Wild animals dying due to hunger and thirst in India. A dead body of adult female panther found at entrance of a cave on mountain in a rural area near Beawar in the Indian state of Rajasthan on 30 June, Wednesday night.

After gets information from villagers, Forest department employees brought dead body of panther to forest office in Beawar. Animal doctors of medical board team did postmortem of panther's dead body on Thursday.

After the postmortem, Doctor Javed told that female panther had died four to five days ago. Her stomach was empty. Panther had died due to hunger and thirst. She was five to six years old.

Assistant Conservator of Forest Narendra Singh Shekhawat said that action would be taken against culprits responsible for death of panther by registering a criminal case under Animal Killing Act.

Dead panther was cremated according to Hindu rituals.
