The miscreants entered the garments shop by breaking a window. Following this, they drank alcohol inside the store, and upon finding nothing worth stealing, they set fire to the establishment. The gang also robbed the adjacent stores and got their hands on up to Rs 15 thousand (USD 201) cash.

The fire department rushed to the spot upon being alerted and gained control of the situation. Moreover, the shop owner underwent a loss of up to Rs 15 lakh (USD 20,122) due to the blaze, and further investigation into the matter is underway.
