England fans can rest easy, as a chicken named Susan from Kent has predicted that Gareth Southgate’s team will win its semi-final match against Denmark tomorrow (8th July).

The psychic poultry and her sister, Jessica, have so far correctly predicted the result in every England game by picking a strawberry under the England flag, rather than one under the opponents flag at their mini-farm in Orpington, Kent.

The chickens owner, Stephen Sangster, said he doesn’t normally count his chickens until they are hatched (in fact none have hatched so far as he doesn’t have a cockerel!) but he thinks football may be coming home.

The chickens are ex-battery hens that were rescued last year and found fame briefly last week then they correctly predicted the England win against Ukraine.

The feathered forecaster follows in the footsteps of Paul, an Octopus at a German zoo that correctly predicted a number of matches in the 2010 World cup.
