Little Corellas (Cacatua sanguinea) are a common species of white cockatoo in Australia. They are noisy, playful birds that feed mainly on the ground, taking a range of seeds, bulbs and grass roots. This pair of Little Corellas was busy messing about on a dead tree stump at Riverside Gardens Reserve on the edge of the Serpentine River in south-western Western Australia. Their calls, along with those of Australian Magpies can be heard.
