A girl's life was dangling by a thread after she encountered a near-death experience in northern India's Rajasthan on July 7. The incident took place at the Gandhi Nagar Jaipur railway station.

CCTV footage features people gathering in large numbers at the railway station to board the moving train in broad daylight. Following this, the girl attempting to hop on the running locomotive accidentally slides down from the moving coach and nearly slips inside the cavity between the platform and the compartments. Luckily, an alert cop rushes and pulls the victim to safety, averting a tragedy.

In the life-saving act, the on-duty Railway Protection Force (RPF) lady constable, Mukesh Meel, showed vigilance and saved the girl stuck in the gap between the platform and the running compartments while boarding the train during the daytime at the Jaipur Division of North Western Railway.
