England’s victory at the Euro 2020 final has been predicted by a SEAL - who has also correctly picked the winner every game so far.

Banana, a three-year-old seal, has shocked her keepers by remarkably predicting every England win.

And encouragingly she's indicated an England victory on Sunday - by flopping over towards the St George Cross rather than Italy's flag this morning (9).

Keepers at The Cornish Seal Sanctuary began encouraging Banana to predict the winner in each of England’s matches by wiggling in the direction of one of the flags.

Incredibly, the ‘psychic’ seal consistently picked England ahead of every one of their victories so far.

Georgina Shannon, who works at the sanctuary in Gweek, Cornwall, said: "The past couple of years have been a bit down in the dumps, and we were wondering how we could have a bit of fun with the seals.

"We weren't expecting Banana's predictions to be so accurate - we were in total shock every time she got it right.

"Banana definitely thinks it's coming home - let's hope she's right again this time!"

Banana was rescued in 2018 aged eight months old, malnourished, injured and with pneumonia, and became a resident seal at the sanctuary after it became clear she couldn’t return to the wild.

Since then she has been raised in the sanctuary, which is part of the SEA LIFE Trust charity, where she is very playful, although loves to sunbathe in the Cornish summer - with this one set to be the best yet if her predictions are correct.

Georgina added: "This was part of Banana's enrichment training to help stimulate her mind by making her choose between the two flags.

"It was never anything serious, but her predictions have been very accurate so far.

"Knowing Banana has backed England for the win has made us all very excited for the final on Sunday."
