On the auspicious occasion of Jagannath Rath Yatra, world-renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has created a miniature Sand chariot of Lord Jagannath at Puri in Odisha .
Sudarsan paid tribute to first poet and first sand artist of the world Balaram Dash who had created three chariots in the 14th century which is believed to impress the Lord.
This year I have created this miniature at my home. I would like to appeal all the devotees to stay at home and pray Lord Jagannath, said Sudarsan. One day before pattnaik has also created a huge 3D sand art of Nandighosha chariot with Lord Jagannath at Puri beach.
