Hundreds of Miami, Florida residents joined an SOS Cuba solidarity protest on Monday, July 12.

The protests in Miami, and also in Tampa, called for US government intervention and urged US President Biden to quickly denounce any detention or violence toward peaceful protests in Cuba by the government of Miguel Diaz Canel.

Many in Cuba protested against the communist government for the lack of freedom, the collapse of the economy, and their handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.
