South Africa: Ex-Leader Zuma Jailing Sparks Widespread Looting, Arson 2
Looting and anarchy have spread across South Africa and prompted the deployment of soldiers since Monday, July 12, to quell the violence following the jailing of ex-leader Jacob Zuma.
Pro-Zuma protests escalated into looting and arson after Zuma handed himself over to police last week to begin his jail term.
This video shows people giving up looting as they were stopped by the security force.
